An encouraging six months with increased interest in Synergy commercial lending broker opportunities
July already … and we can hardly believe just how quickly half the year has simply flown by. Yet despite the enormous difficulties that the entire country has faced over the past three months or so, we’re delighted to report that for Synergy Commercial Finance at least, we have lots of good reasons to be optimistic not only for our own future, but also for the future of our expanding commercial lending broker network.
So with the first six months of 2020 already ticked off, we thought that this would be a suitable opportunity for us to look back at the first half of the year and also to summarise the unprecedented challenges we have all faced along with plenty of encouraging achievements that make us feel extremely positive for the future.
They say that one man’s problems are another man’s opportunity and for us that has proved to be perfectly true. Sad as it may be, because of the strict coronavirus pandemic restrictions many businesses, across all sectors, have been severely challenged. Many have needed financial support simply to survive and fortunately, Synergy has been perfectly placed to provide that assistance.

The recruitment of new franchisees throughout the lockdown has remained encouragingly strong and over the past couple of months alone, we have held no fewer than eleven induction sessions. Because of the circumstances, instead of our usual face-to-face meetings, these have been arranged via Zoom technology.

While there is no doubt that this is a daunting experience, we are seeing that for many people it is viewed as a new opportunity to kick-start a new chapter in their career by establishing their own commercial lending broker business.
