Amanda Sharp has worked in the finance industry for over 35 years, she left a high street bank in June 2016. A large part of her career was working as a Commercial Relationship Manager, looking after SME’s in and around Essex.
After leaving the bank, Amanda took a 7-month gap and returned to the industry working for three well known funders, all in the ‘alternative finance’ arena. Amanda then left, to peruse her career further with Synergy Commercial Finance
More importantly, Amanda has a great passion for working with independent business owners, learning how they operate their business and the issues they are experiencing. Amanda has the knowledge to suggest solutions which will see their business succeed.
We asked Amanda why she wanted to become a broker and the answer was simple. “There are a broad range of funding options available for businesses and I didn’t want to just offer one product/solution when I have whole of market experience. Working at a bank I had a range of solutions for my clients albeit they were all provided in house.”
Amanda is used to working with regulations however, she did want to become FCA regulated with Synergy Commercial Finance so she could recommend the correct product to her clients and introduce them to tier 1 lender’s in the right circumstances.
