Ben Wilmot, a career-long asset finance professional has successfully launched a new asset finance brokerage, BW Finance Ltd. With over 20 years of experience in the leasing industry, Ben is well placed to rapidly grow his fledgling firm.
Prior to setting up on his own, Ben worked at Azule Finance, where he played a key role in the startup of the company and served on the board. Following this he moved to GSM Finance, where he managed a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from well-known organisations to owner-operated businesses. Ben’s skill as a networker and his expertise in all aspects of the finance process, from initial proposal to credit and pay-out, make him well-placed to help his clients obtain the finance they need.
When asked about his decision to join the AFS network, Ben explained that he was initially introduced by a friend. After watching an introductory video, he knew that AFS would provide the right resources to support his career ambitions. In particular, the breadth of the AFS funding panel has a particular appeal as it allows him to offer his clients very specific solutions at a competitive price point.
