It’s a sad, but rather exciting time for Chris Blackwell, after three and a half years, he leaves his role at Synergy as Business Development Manager. However, he’s become a part of Synergy’s ever-growing network, joining us as a franchisee, operating under the name of Blackwell Financial Solution.
Just like any other new joiner, he had to take part in a 2 day induction. Day 1 was at the AFS head office in Blackburn, covering accounts, marketing and compliance and day 2 was at the Synergy office.
Prior to working for Synergy, Chris began his career in the finance industry in 2007, where he took part in a graduate scheme for a high street bank. After 10 years of hard work and dedication, Chris landed the role of Relationship Manager.
Although Chris loved working for Synergy, there was just a few more benefits he couldn’t wait to get his hands on when becoming an Appointed Representative. One being, he could manage his work life balance more. As he has two young sons to look after, this part of the package was ideal.
Chris has worked closely with the compliance team over the past few years, so he knows the measure that are taken by the team to ensure all work is done to exceptional standard. Therefore, this frees up a large amount of time for Chris and gives him “piece of mind”.
Synergy has access to just over 200 funders, which is a great opportunity for Chris as he isn’t limited to just a handful of funders and this is another benefit of our ‘Broker in a box’ offering.
