After 12 years at Close Brothers in the Asset Finance division, Ian O’Leary has taken the decision to join our broker network. He will be joining as an Appointed Representative, operating under the name, Pro-Plan FS.
Ian was first attracted to AFS’s broker in the box offering. He advises that having the support and guidance from the Compliance department and knowing that everything they do, is “all to the book” was very important to him.
Secondly, having a vast range of funders was also very appealing. Knowing he can now assist with any deal really is the icing on the cake and he can start to build strong relationships with both the funders and his clients.
Of course, with all the above taken into consideration, it was imperative for Ian to manage his work/life balance so he could spend a considerable amount of time with his family and working as an AR under the AFS umbrella will enable Ian to do this more easily.
Ian is eager to get stuck in and is hoping to not only reconnect with his key clients, who he has served over the past few years, but will also be relying on some good old-fashioned hard work, determination and liaising with potential new clients on a daily basis to maximise his company brand!
