As a successful business we see the value in giving back to the communities in which we operate. Every year we ask our Appointed Representatives to nominate a charity close to their heart. From this pool, we pick three charities that we support that year.
For every deal that goes live from May to the following April, we put one pound into the charity pot. We use our growth and success as a business to benefit those who truly needed the funds and with the help of all our Appointed Representatives we raise an enormous amount of money, that really makes a difference to the causes we support.
It’s not just communities we care about, we also are mindful of the environment. In addition to our internal policies on reducing waste in all its forms we proactively support JUST ONE Tree, a non-profit initiative removing CO2 from the atmosphere and reversing biodiversity loss through global reforestation. They plant trees in areas severely affected by deforestation to maximise the effect on reducing global warming. In the process they help to provide agricultural education and sustainable incomes to local communities.
For every successful deal transacted by AFS and Synergy network members a tree is planted. So far 5,000 trees have been planted for AFS Group. These trees will help remove CO2 from the atmosphere. Which also helps towards cleaner air, cleaner water, more homes for wildlife, more breeding ground for tropical fish and sustainable incomes for local communities.
