Paul Tregale has joined Richard Arnold & Ian Thomas at Asset Finance Specialists Ltd as an Appointed Representative.
Paul Tregale joins with a considerable amount of experience, most recently, as Commercial & Sales Director at PVS Ltd where he established their asset finance division within a 3-year period, including working with a small panel of UK asset funders.
Before this Paul was employed by Lombard Asset Finance for 15 years, working across the South West. All of the roles that Paul held were specifically related to Sales Relationship Management, working with customers from all sectors, including Manufacturing, Commercial Transport & Construction. During his time at Lombard, Paul supported many businesses with asset finance solutions, from SMEs to mid corporates.
Paul would say his primary skills are relationship management and identifying the relevant finance solution that enables businesses to grow. By really getting to know his customers, Paul can support any type of trading business that has a financial need.
Prior to joining the network, Paul was already aware of Asset Finance Solutions (UK) Ltd as a handful of his ex-colleagues are existing brokers. Paul added “ I did my own research, and having had a conversation with an existing franchisee (Asset Finance Specialists Ltd), the opportunity arose and it was a no brainer, to have the whole of market available to you as an asset finance broker is really important, as you are able to offer the customer the right deal.
The opportunity to become a broker has transpired following the last 3 years of having exposure to setting up a small asset finance division of an existing business. This presented me with various challenges, and exposure to a number of the UK Asset Funders, outside of the more traditional large asset funder such as the previous employed role within the Lombard business.”
Paul’s wide range of experience means he is able to talk knowledgeably to clients in any sector and size. He has several prospects and contacts from the South West and within the industry and is therefore looking forward to helping and solving financial problems for his customers
