Richard Perry alongside his daughter Lucy Perry has joined the Asset Finance Solutions network as a Franchisee, trading as Coastal Asset Finance.
We are pleased to announce that Richard Perry is joining the AFS network as a Franchisee, trading as Coastal Asset Finance. Richard has Joined along with his eldest daughter Lucy Perry who completed her training at our Finance Broker Academy. Richard Perry is no stranger to asset finance with over 25 years’ worth of experience in the industry.
In 2001, Richard moved on from his job working for Bank of Scotland Asset Finance to set up his own business, First Capital Finance. Having built relationships with hundreds of companies and businesses, gained a well-respected reputation and a great amount of experience in managing his own finance brokerage throughout the years spent there. Richard has now decided to move on from First Capital Finance and start a new adventure starting up Coastal Asset Finance.
Having known our group managing directors Nick Simpson and Justin Ford for nearly 20 years, he gathered a good understanding from them over the years of what AFS has to offer for those looking to become a Franchisee. Becoming a Franchisee seemed like the right step forward as he can utilise a large panel of funders, meaning he can deal with a wide range of customers regardless of their financial requirements, providing them with some of the most competitive rates in the market.
Richard already has a well-established client base who have worked closely with him throughout his career. He is looking forward to now having more freedom and more independence to help his existing, as well as new clients with their Asset Finance needs. Being more directly involved with the needs of his customers. Having the support from our reliable compliance and sales support team working in the background, leaving Richard to do what he enjoys the most – meeting with clients, helping and solving financial problems for their businesses.
Richard’s daughter, Lucy Perry recently graduated from our Finance Broker Academy which aims to aspire the next generation of brokers. Where she covered all aspects of being an asset finance broker while gaining valuable experience that can support her ongoing professional development in her career. Demonstrating her eagerness to learn and confidence to grow in the industry, following in her father’s footsteps.
They have plans to promote Coastal Asset Finance to the wider market to help the continuous growth of their client base. Coastal Asset Finance is ready to help with the growth of their client’s businesses by providing a variety of financing solutions; primarily working in commercial and general Asset Finance such as commercial vehicles, plant and engineering machinery. Richard takes pride in providing excellent service, developing strong relationships with their customers and getting a true understanding of what their business needs to be able to provide the best finance solutions possible.
