Our latest Synergy Commercial Finance network joiner, Stuart Pawelczyk has set up his own specialist commercial finance brokerage, trading as Business Finance Expert (Midlands) Ltd. Stuart brings with him a wealth of experience, having started in the financial services industry back in 2003 with HSBC in retail banking where he worked his way up to the position of Branch Manager, before moving on to enter the commercial finance market at Bank of Cyprus UK in the Midlands.
Over the years, Stuart has built a strong network and has worked for two well-known national commercial finance brokers. In his last role at Swoop Funding, he played a key role in setting up their property finance proposition as Head of Commercial Mortgages.
Since transitioning from lender to broker, Stuart has always had a desire to work for himself and grow his own business. In February 2024, he decided to venture out on his own and become an independent commercial finance broker. He believes that it is crucial for brokers to be adaptable and supportive of SMEs and to ensure that the best outcome is always achieved for his clients. This approach has seen him build a band of loyal repeat customers as well as a good network of business introducers.
Stuart was attracted to Synergy by the broker-in-a-box proposition, which he believes offers great back-office support to his business and enables him to assist more SMEs in accessing a wider range of finance solutions. His primary focus will be on supporting SMEs and Property Professionals raising finance for acquisitions and refinancing. He will continue to work heavily in sectors where he has a wealth of knowledge and experience, such as the care, childcare and hotel sectors.
