We are delighted to announce that Zak German has recently joined the AFS network as a Franchisee, trading as Sandringham Business Finance.
Zak initially fell into the finance industry after working in recruitment for PRTR. His friend spotted his potential and encouraged him to make the switch, that’s when he began working for PMD Business Finance for 3 years.
After exploring the industry more, he found that it was a perfect fit. He enjoys that it is a people-driven industry, where each day presents new people, new opportunities, and new challenges. Zak is a firm believer in learning as he goes and is continuously open to new ideas and opportunities. His experience in the finance industry so far has been a positive one and it’s his enthusiasm for the ever-changing and often rewarding nature of the job that keeps him motivated every day.
Soon after, he heard about Asset Finance Solutions from other brokers and customers, and it was the ‘broker in a box’ offering that caught his attention and the support of the Compliance team and access to a large panel of funders that sold the idea. This led Zak into establishing his own Brokerage trading as Sandringham Business Finance. Zak has the chance to get on with what he is best at and have the work-life balance he desired.
He’s taking the right steps to ensure that his business has a strong relationship with clients and suppliers, he’s been able to attract more business through referrals.
Zak loves to get out there and meet his clients face-to-face, to really get to know them and their needs. He believes that getting to know his clients and their business on a personal level is the best way to provide the best solutions. Zak’s main area of expertise is working with clients in the haulage, construction, transport and plant hire industries across the UK.
